Andre Agassi

Andre Agassi's father represented Iran in boxing in the 1948 and 1952 Olympics.

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi were the first two players in tennis history to win all four Grand Slam singles titles and an Olympic gold medal. With only their mothers as witnesses, they married on October 22, 2001 at his Las Vegas home.

Agassi was first married between 1997-1999 to actress Brooke Shields.

He smashed his Wimbledon trophy and all of his tennis awards in a fit of jealousy rage after witnessing on the set of Friends his then-girlfriend Brooke Shields kissing Mat Le Blanc for an episode of the series. The scene, shot in 1995, made Agassi storm off the set.

Agassi admitted in 2009 that his long hair in the Nineties was a wig and his obsession with it not falling off lost him his first Grand Slam final at the French Open in 1990. He said: "During the warming-up I prayed. Not for victory, but that my hairpiece would not fall off."

Agassi played a Davis Cup match in 1992 wearing a pair of Oakley sunglasses to hide the fact that he was hungover from the previous night's drinking. Jim Jannard of Oakley then sent him a new Dodge Viper to thank him for the endorsement.

Andre Agassi has dedicated his post tennis career to education for children, starting his own foundation and investing in the award-winning educational technology company Square Panda.
