On January 31, 2017, doctors at Stanley Medical College and Hospital in Chennai, India, successfully removed a live, full-grown cockroach from a woman's nasal cavity. After visiting two other hospitals without finding relief, she finally arrived at Stanley Medical College, where doctors performed a nasal endoscopy. The endoscopy revealed the surprising culprit – a live cockroach lodged deep within Selvi's nasal cavity. Using a combination of suction and forceps, the doctors carefully extracted the insect, much to Selvi's relief. Thankfully, the cockroach hadn't caused any serious damage, and Selvi made a full recovery.
