Camels have three eyelids. Two of the eyelids have lashes and the third eyelid comes from the corner of the eye.
Owls also have three eyelids: one for blinking, one for sleeping and one for keeping the eye clean and healthy.
Snakes don’t have eyelids. When they sleep, they just close their retinas.
Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids.
With the exception of the prepuce and the labia minora, the eyelid has the thinnest skin of the whole body.
